Biography
Dr. Thomas Meola is a board-certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Lafayette College and earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed residencies in both internal medicine and dermatology at NYU Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in photomedicine focusing on the effects of ultraviolet radiation on the skin. He authored numerous published research papers and book chapters on this topic and presented his research at national and international conferences.
Prior to joining Concorde, he practiced dermatology at Murray Hill Medical Group (later CareMount Medical) for 29 years and was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the NYU Department of Dermatology where he received multiple teaching awards. He served on the Executive Committee at Murray Hill Medical Group, overseeing practice operations, and was a member of the CareMount Board of Directors and the Clinical Governance Committee.
Dr. Meola practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a focus on the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer as well as the treatment of acne, rosacea, eczema, and warts. Cosmetic procedures include the administration of Botox, fillers, and laser treatment.
