Family & Cardiology Care Nurse Practitioner

Biography

Lynda is a Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her degree from Sacred Heart University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Nursing. During her time at Sacred Heart, she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Lynda is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Throughout her career, Lynda has primarily worked as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department at New York-Presbyterian – Columbia. Her passion for emergency medicine led her to obtain certification in emergency nursing. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Lynda played an active role in mentoring and orienting new hires and nursing graduates. In the emergency room, she cared for patients experiencing a variety of emergencies, many of which were cardiac-related. This experience inspired Lynda to pursue her degree as a Nurse Practitioner, with the goal of improving access to quality healthcare for her community.

Lynda is excited to be part of the Northwell team at Concorde Cardiology, where she can combine her expertise in cardiac illness with her commitment to patient care. She believes in a patient-centered, holistic approach, aiming to address both mental and physical health needs through medication, diet, and lifestyle interventions.

In her free time, Lynda enjoys staying active by playing basketball and practicing yoga.
