Podiatry, Foot & Ankle Surgery

The Division of Podiatry at the Concorde Medical Group offers both conservative and surgical management of conditions and deformities affecting the lower extremities.  Treatments include the use of state-of-the-art procedures and modalities to ensure that patients continue to function, work and maintain an active lifestyle. Under the direction of Michael A. Schumacher, DPM, who is the current chair of the United States Squash Racquets Medical Advisory Committee, patients benefit from procedures commonly used in Sports Medicine to treat both professional and amateur athletes. Dr. Schumacher treats patients of all ages.

The Podiatry Division provides a broad range of services in both a hospital and outpatient setting that includes both surgical and non-surgical approaches to managing conditions that range from trauma to chronic and congenital conditions.  These include:
